Here are a few of insights about our blog:

  1. We published a total of 46 posts in calendar year 2019
  2. The Top 10 posts (21% of total) listed above accounted for 44% of the total pageviews received by these 46 posts. While that’s disproportionately high, our analysis shows that our blog’s traffic pattern is still closer to a bell curve than a power law curve (where 20% of posts would get 80% of pageviews). See the frequency histogram on the right.
  3. Interestingly, in 2019, for every pageview received by posts published in 2019, four pageviews were received by posts published in prior years. This belies the common notion that content has a short shelf life and goes to show that good content can deliver rich dividends for years and years after it’s published.
